I’ve always loved ebony. One of the last things my father gave me before he died (many years ago) was made from carved ebony, so ebony always make me think of him.
It’s here, and it’s even more beautiful in person! I love the texture, and the balance and weight are great. It’s also a perfect height for lazy reclining-on-the-couch spinning.
